Additives
COBS Bread does not claim to sell products free of any ingredients
(eg yeast, wheat, gluten, preservatives, etc).

Allergies
COBS Bread cannot guarantee there will not be a trace amount of any ingredient (including nuts) in any product, as we may have ingredients remaining as a result of our traditional scratch baking process where all products share the same equipment and thus risk cross contamination of an ingredient.

Animal Fats
Most of our breads contain no added animal products, however, traces of such fats may be found in some products sold such as our cheese breads.

Local Suppliers
Where possible, COBs purchases local ingredients in Canada.

Cotton Tote Bag
Yes, all bakeries are delighted to refill cotton tote bags. Substitutes apply as per leaflet. These bags are also available for customers to buy on their own.

Dairy Products
Products that contain cheese, milk and butter are classified as containing dairy. This includes products such as Twists, Savoury rolls, Scones, Croissants and Danish.

Genetically Modified Organisms / Ingredients
COBs does not claim to sell products free of any ingredients, however, we have made a special effort to investigate GMO's.

Gluten, Wheat free
All of our products contain gluten as we use wheat based flours.We cannot bake Gluten-free bread as there is a chance of cross contamination between products.

Preservatives
Whilst COBS Bread does not add any ingredient to be used purely as a preservative, some of our raw ingredients contain preservatives.

Sale of ingredients
COBS Bread policy is to not on-sell ingredients (eg flour, yeast etc). It is not our business and we do not have the pricing and stock controls in place to manage this practice.

Slicing cheese products
COBs policy is to not slice any cheese products. This is due to the potential cross contamination between products in the slicer. This is to benefit our customers, some of whom have serious allergies to dairy products.

Vegans / Vegetarians
Due to the bakery environment COBS Bread cannot guarantee that any bread sold is completely free of any animal product.

Yeast-free
All of our products contain added yeast, excluding our scones, croissants and danish pastries. Whilst we do not add yeast to these products, there is a chance of cross contamination as yeast is in the bakery environment.
