Career Profiles
In August of 2006, Rochelle A. joined COBS as an Assistant Bakery Manager. Rochelle comes from a culinary background as a chef. After spending only a few months at the Lakeshore COBS in Oakville, ON, Rochelle moved on to help with the opening and training of both The Annex and Kensington Market bakery teams in downtown Toronto. After a very successful and busy Christmas season, Rochelle's proven hard work and dedication paid off and she is now the Bakery Manager at Kensington Market. Rochelle and her team are looking forward to the promising summer months ahead in the busy 'Market' area.

Patric R. came to COBS as a new Bakery Manager for our second Edmonton bakery in Sherwood Park. He has over 15 years expericence in the food and hospitality industry, this included managing banquets, restaurants, and most recently as a kitchen manager with a casusal dining restaurant chain. Patric is excited to be working so close to home and in his community.

Jeff W. graduated from the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts in August of 2002. Jeff wanted to explore the baking side of culinary arts and had a desire to join a growing company. He began as a Junior Baker with COBS in August of 2004 and by the end of the year he was promoted to Production Manager at the West 4th location. Jeff grew into an Assistant Manager role and was recently promoted to Bakery Manager. Jeff is also one of our Regional Bread Experts. As a Regional Bread Expert Jeff helps to train and develop production teams and is responsible for maintaining bread consistency and quality.

Geoff C. is an Australian Cobber that comes to COBS with a background as a bakery pastry chef. Geoff joined COBS in October of 2004 as a baker at our Kensington Square location; he was promoted shortly after to Production Manager and was part of the Park Gate COBS opening team. Geoff worked at several other COBS locations, and in May of 2005 he assisted in the opening of our Willowbrook bakery. He then made the transition to becoming COBS Regional Technical Baker, which involved training and developing production teams to maintain bread quality and consistency. In February this year, Geoff decided he was ready to take on the next chapter in his career, which included becoming the franchisee of our Semiahmoo Mall Location.
