Production Manager /
Head Baker
This critical position demands an individual
with demonstrated experience in the management of a retail bakery,
possesses a recognized qualification in bread making and a dedication
to achievement in the highest possible standards of bread production,
sales and workplace cleanliness.
The Production Manager will be directly responsible for the production of bread
products to COBS Bread standards and to our customers' expectations.
In order to secure this position, you must be able to demonstrate skills in
the management of others, demonstrate excellence in customer service and be
fully conversant with all relevant regulations applicable to operation of a
food manufacturing premises.
Sales
Manager
This position requires an individual with
a strong commitment to achieving the highest possible standards
with customer service in a fast paced retail environment.
Communication skills, team management experience and a thorough understanding
of staff scheduling, merchandizing and retail financial skills are considered
critical for this demanding role.
Duties include the training of others, adherence to scheduled marketing programs,
administration of employee wages and the management of financial transactions.

Baker
COBS Bread Bakers are critical to the success
of our retail bakeries. They must have the commitment to ensure
that each and every product they produce is of the highest quality
and that these products meet the standards COBS Bread requires.
Our Bakers must be able to demonstrate the highest level of personal and workplace
cleanliness, posses a recognized baking qualification and a current Food Handling
certificate. COBS Bread Bakers must also have the desire to work in a fast-paced
team environment.
Sales
Assistant
COBS Bread Sales Assistants are the face
of the bakery and as such, need to ensure that each and
every customer they serve receive the highest level of
customer service possible.
Our Sales Assistants must be friendly and high energy, ready to help and have
a passion for the products they sell.
COBS Bread Sales Assistants must be able to demonstrate the ability to learn,
work in a team environment, keep their work area spotlessly clean and be confident
in handling cash.

Junior Baker
Becoming a COBS Bread Apprentice Baker provides
you with an opportunity to be part of an exciting dynamic team.
You must be ready to learn all there is to know about Bread Baking
and have the ability to take on greater responsibilities as you
gain more skills.
This position requires you to work in a small team environment where your efforts
will contribute to the success of the bakery.
