Rutherford Marketplace, Vaughan Bakery

Conveniently located on the North West corner of Bathurst Street and Rutherford Road, in the Rutherford Marketplace near LA Fitness, COBS Bread Rutherford Marketplace is proud to be your local bakery in Vaughan, Ontario.

Allison and her team of bakers start each morning at 2am, baking bread from scratch.

At COBS Bread Rutherford Marketplace, none of our products contain nuts (please note, however, that some of our ingredients come from manufacturers where crossover may occur).All of our traditional breads contain no added preservatives, artificial colours, sugar or dairy.  At the end of each day, all our leftover bread is donated to local charities including:

  • Lifecorps
  • Just the Little Lights Relief Organization
  • 360 Kids
  • Missionary Sisters of the Precious Blood
  • Brookhaven Public School
We are thrilled to be the local bakery of such a diverse yet close-knit community. We specialize in the Challah bread range to satisfy our community. We also actively participate in new product trials whenever possible. We do not make any products that contain nuts, and do not bring nut products into the store to avoid contamination. With a wide range of Breads, Sweets, and Savoury options, we do our best to consistently evolve with the community’s needs.  If you have a special request, or if an item you enjoy is not available on a particular day, we are happy to take special orders.  Simply inquire within the bakery or give us a call at least 24 hours in advance to place your order.
