What would it take for you to agree to shave your head?
For Kelly, of COBS Centennial Village in Okotoks, Alberta, it was to motivate people to give to an important cause. During the first anniversary celebration of her bakery, she offered to shave her head if they could raise over $1,000 for the Calgary Cancer Society. For over $2,000, her husband, Lee, would follow her lead get the same haircut.
Suffice to say, Kelly and Lee raised almost $6,000 in one day with the donations being split between the Calgary Cancer Society and the Foothills Country Hospice Society.
We are admire of Kelly and Lee’s generous spirit and are very proud to have them as part of the COBS Bread family of bakeries. Take a peak below and see how Kelly and her husband look with their bold new ‘dos!
