Bedford Smashes Community Day Records!
It’s been an amazing start to the opening of COBS Bread in Bedford, Halifax!
Sister and brother duo Rebecca and Ben Cripps opened the bakery doors on Thursday, February 6th to an incredible response from their community. Since opening, the newly coined ‘Breadford’ is busier and busier each day, a testament to the hard work of their team, their energy and the freshest bread and baked treats.
Community Day
On Sunday, February 23rd, Community Day was held at COBS Bread Bedford in support of Parkerstreet Food and Furniture Bank. In the days leading up to the event, and with the help of FX 101.9 radio station, there was much anticipated excitement. The day was a huge success; FX 101.9 also joined the Bedford team on Community Day, broadcasting live and spreading the awareness of this local charity.
As a result, COBS Bedford broke the record for the highest amount raised – $9,204. Congratulations to Rebecca, Ben, Tim, Heather, Ken and the entire Cripps family and staff!
