National Pizza Day is February 9 and we’ve got your bases covered! Pizza bases, that is!
Let’s be honest, the fun part of ‘make your own pizza night’ is adding the toppings! Which is why we’ve done the heavy lifting (and rolling, kneading and baking) for you. All you have to do is pick up your Pizza Bases from your local COBS Bread bakery, add your toppings and bake!
Here are some of our favourite combinations!
Mushrooms, Grilled Zucchini, Red Bell Peppers, Feta and Parsley. This pizza is so delicious, you won’t even miss the meat! Going vegan? Our pizza bases are vegan-friendly, so just skip the feta!
This pizza just screams Italy. Spread your favourite pizza sauce, top with salami, sliced Roma or cherry tomatoes, arugula and finish with shredded mozzarella for a refreshing and filling pizza.
Have you tried adding chicken to pizza? Top a COBS Bread Pizza Base with grilled chicken, red onions, chili flakes, basil, parsley and shredded provolone cheese. For a fun twist, use a spicy barbecue sauce instead of tomato sauce as the base!
COBS Bread Pizza Bases Cooking Instructions:
- Add favourite toppings
- Pre-heat oven to 450F (230C)
- Bake for 8 – 10 minutes or until base is crisp.
