FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Vancouver, BC) March 8, 2021 – COBS Bread’s seasonal Hot Cross Bun campaign officially launches today, with a focus on encouraging customer to “doughnate” throughout the campaign. COBS Bread hopes to raise $250,000 for charitable organizations across Canada.
The goal of the campaign is to raise funds COBS Bread’s charitable partner, Breakfast Club of Canada, in addition to supporting community charities across the country through sales of Hot Cross Buns. Each bakery has selected a charity that makes a local impact, and will be raising funds in-bakery throughout the campaign.
“As a local community bakery, connecting with local charities is a cornerstone of our business,” says Brad Bissonnette, VP of Marketing for COBS Bread. “And we also recognize that in the midst of this pandemic, people want to have options- for how they can get their food and bread, and give back to their communities. We’re looking forward to the outcome of these efforts and the impact we can make across the country.”
The Doughnation opportunities schedule is as follows:
Anytime from Feb 25 – April 7, 2021:
