Hot Cross Bun Bread and Butter Pudding
Ingredients
- 6 COBS Bread Traditional Fruit Hot Cross Buns
- 2 cups whipping cream
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 3 eggs
- Zest of 1 orange
- 1 handful raisins (1/2 cup)
- Berries & whipping cream to serve
- Sugar to sprinkle
Directions
1. Pre-heat oven to 325F
2. Slice Hot Cross Buns in half horizontally
3. Butter the baking dish & lay the bun bottoms on the dish
4. Mix the cream, milk, eggs and orange zest in a bowl & pour over bun bottoms
5. Sprinkle over raisins, place bun tops on top and sprinkle with sugar
6. Bake at 325F for 30-40 minutes
7. Serve with whipping cream & berries
