What is Play to Pay?
Play to Pay is our favourite musical tradition! Bring an instrument of your choice (we’re fans of the recorder, but anything works), head to your local COBS Bread, and play the notes B‑A‑G to earn yourself a free Hot Cross Bun.If you’re feeling extra generous, you can also make an optional donation to support local charities.
When is Play to Pay?
Saturday, February 21 at participating bakeries!
How do I participate?
Step 1: Grab an instrument.
Step 2: Play Hot Cross Buns.
Step 3: Earn a Hot Cross Bun.Simple, sweet, and slightly musical.
Can I use any instrument?
If it makes a sound, it counts!
Do I need an instrument?
We recommend bringing one, but singing loudly totally counts. (Bonus points for enthusiasm.)

It’s just three notes: B‑A‑G. We also have a simple music sheet available below to help you out!
