Herb & Garlic Breads and Rolls, 5 Ways

by Yvonne Y | Oct 09, 2013

At COBS Bread, we are pretty enthusiastic about our Herb & Garlic range. Our Herb & Garlic breads and rolls are so flavourful, they can easily be enjoyed in their simplest form. That said, substituting Herb & Garlic into your Thanksgiving and other harvest recipes can create delectable and memorable taste experience. Here are a few of our favourite ways to use our Herb & Garlic range:

Stuffing: Amazing things happen when you substitute our Herb & Garlic loaf for the bread you use in your regular recipe, or check out the COBS Bread Herb & Garlic stuffing recipe.

Garlic Bread: You can chose to add an extra garlic kick with garlic or garlic butter, but we’ll leave that up to you!

  • Single serving: Simply cut off a thick slice of our Herb & Garlic Pane di Casa Loaf . Pop it in the toaster and spread on some butter.
  • Family serving: Use our Herb & Garlic Half Baguette. Slice down the middle with a serrated knife. Generously spread butter on each side of the baguette. Close together and wrap in tin foil. Bake in the oven on the middle rack at 325 for 15 minutes. Careful when unwrapping- it’s hot! Slice into 1 ½” wide pieces.

Croutons: Use our Herb & Garlic Pane di Casa Loaf to make instantly flavorful croutons. Lightly coat bread with olive oil; spread on parchment paper–lined baking sheet. Bake in 450ºF (230ºC) oven until golden, about 8 minutes.

Dinner Roll with soup or stew: Let our new Herb & Garlic Dinner Rolls really soak up the flavours of your delicious soup or stew.

Thanksgiving Leftovers Sandwich: This really speaks for itself. For some inspiration, check out our turkey leftover sandwich recipe.
